Cadillac Concept Announced

Cadillac recently made a splash at the Detroit Auto Show, also called the North American International Auto Show. In particular, the brand showcased the Cadillac Escala. Though not the premiere of the vehicle, Cadillac was able to release some important information about the modern-looking car. Don’t just take our word for it—this car is truly stunning.

According to Bloomberg, the new Cadillac Escala concept is a sleek, four-door sedan with a range of premium features. This includes LED lighting, an aluminum grille, 22-inch rims with special designs, and a truly distinct front fascia. It also has a smooth body line that signals motion and speed—perfect for this model.

New Technologies To Come

President Johan De Nysschen said that the Escala is “the direction we are thinking about for technologies, automation, connectivity, interior design, [and] craftsmanship.” Under the hood of this concept is a twin-turbo eight-cylinder engine.

Cadillac also showcased some other models, including the CT6 Plug-In. This new sedan has a hybrid powertrain that has up to 30 miles of pure-electric range, over 400 miles of hybrid range, and up to 335 horsepower. It truly is the future of powertrain design. Presented alongside the new Cadillac Escala, the CT6 Plug-In signals to visitors that Cadillac is aiming to set new standards in the following years.

Cadillac Introduces Distinctive Cadillac Crystal White Frost Edition for V-Series

If its high-performance V-series models weren’t attractive enough already, Cadillac has unveiled a new Crystal White Frost Edition to make them so distinctive and appealing that we imagine they’ll have the same head-turning effect as the Woman in the Red Dress in the original Matrix movie.

The new Crystal White Frost Edition models feature unique matte-finish white paint and special wheels. They’ll be available on the CTS-V sedan, ATS-V sedan, and ATS-V coupe, which will come standard with the Carbon Fiber and Luxury packages. Also available will be extra performance and luxury options like Recaro bucket seats and microfiber-trimmed control surfaces.

The Cadillac Crystal White Frost Edition will be featured on the high performing V-series cars like the ATS-V.

The catch? It’s unlikely we’ll ever even see one at Linus Buick Cadillac GMC. Cadillac will only produce 99 examples of these stunning vehicles: 29 CTS-V sedans, 31 ATS-V sedans, and 3 ATS-V coupes. Needless to say, they’ll be in short supply, and we expect demand to be quite high.
